The route at a glance

The Stromberg-Murrtal-Radweg covers about 166 kilometres of Baden-Württemberg between the Stromberg hills and the Murr valley. From Pforzheim you ride north through the Enz valley to Vaihingen an der Enz, past vineyards and the woods of the Stromberg. Then the route crosses the Bottwar valley with its wine estates and finally reaches the quiet Murr valley with Backnang and Murrhardt. It is well signposted with only moderate climbs, which makes it a good fit for a few relaxed days with wine tastings along the way.
