The route at a glance
The Radrunde Allgäu is a loop of about 475 kilometres through the Allgäu, which you can start in Kempten, for example. You ride over green hills and through wide valleys, past lakes, farms and moors, and up to the edge of the Allgäu Alps. Castles such as Neuschwanstein and several old monasteries lie along the way. The route is well signposted, with flat sections alternating with tougher climbs. You can ride the full loop or pick single stages.
