The route at a glance

The Baltic Coast Cycle Path is the German section of EuroVelo 10 and runs for about 1,100 kilometres from the Danish to the Polish border. You pass seaside resorts and fishing villages, reach the Hanseatic city of Lübeck with its UNESCO-listed old town, and follow the coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania to Kühlungsborn and Warnemünde. Rügen has the chalk cliffs of Jasmund National Park, Stralsund its old town and the Ozeaneum. The route is mostly flat and signposted throughout, good for a first long tour.
