The route at a glance

The Moselle Cycle Path follows the Moselle through its winding valley between Koblenz on the Rhine and the French border area around Perl and Sierck-les-Bains. The path is well built and signposted. In the Roman city of Trier you find the Porta Nigra and the amphitheatre, in Cochem the Reichsburg castle, and at the Calmont you see Europe's steepest vineyard. In between lie Riesling slopes and wineries offering tastings, so the route suits riders of every level who like a good stop.
