The route at a glance

The Inn Cycle Path follows the Inn for about 520 kilometres, from Maloja in Switzerland near the river's source, through Austria to Passau, where the Inn joins the Danube. You start in the Engadine, with its villages and views of snow-capped peaks, then ride through Tyrol to Innsbruck and the Golden Roof in its old town. In Bavaria the route crosses the Alpine foothills and passes through Rosenheim. It is well signposted, flat for long stretches and has plenty of places to stay and eat.
