The route at a glance

The Hohe Mark RadRoute covers about 310 kilometres through the western Münsterland to the Lower Rhine. From Olfen you ride past moated castles, rivers and farms into the Hohe Mark Nature Park with its woods, heathland and lakes. Along the way lie Haltern am See, Dorsten and Wesel, good places for an overnight stop and regional food. The route is well signposted, and alongside easy flat stretches there are some harder sections through hilly country.
