The route at a glance

The Berlin to Copenhagen Cycle Route links the two capitals over about 700 kilometres. From Berlin you ride through flat, green Brandenburg with its lakes and forests to the Baltic coast, then take the ferry from Rostock to Gedser in Denmark. There, well-built cycle paths lead through rolling countryside and villages and along the coast for a stretch. Copenhagen waits at the end with Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid and Christiania. It suits you if you want a cross-border multi-day tour with a sea crossing.
